Power Tool Repair Technician

Summary Description:

Superior Tool Rental has been servicing its customers since 1962 with the most recognized service and equipment in the industry. Superior’s customers range from some of the world’s largest contractors, industrial plants and factories, to local mechanical, electrical and steel erection. To assist their growing business, Superior Tool Rental has hired a Power Tool Repair Technician. Superior expects this individual to repair power tools, have an advanced knowledge of electrical power tools, and the ability to troubleshoot power tool issues. The Power Tool Repair Technician will support the Superior team by having excellent communication skills, and performing quality work to ensure customer satisfaction and proper functioning of Superior equipment rentals. Successful Support Staff will have an upbeat attitude and provide innovative solutions to meet the needs of Superior’s growing customer base.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Repair various types of power tools
  • Diagnose equipment issues
  • Ensure all equipment is functional for customers
  • Troubleshoot power tools in need of repair
  • Resolve electrical issues with power tools
  • Track all repair activity
  • Assist team members with electrical knowledge

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 1-3 years of power tool repair experience
  • Background in electrical tool repair
  • Industry experience

Outside Sales and Rental Representative

Summary Description:

Midland Tool has been servicing its customers since 1962 with the most recognized service and supplies in the industry. Midland’s customers range from some of the world’s largest contractors, industrial plants and factories, to local mechanical, electrical and steel erection. To assist their growing business, Midland Tool is seeking to hire an Outside Sales Representative that will develop business renting out industrial equipment and sell industrial tools to our customers located throughout S.E. Michigan. Midland expects this individual to develop business for Superior Tool and Midland Equipment. The Sales Representative will support the Midland and Superior teams by having excellent communication and by coordinating activities between the office and warehouse. Successful Sales Representatives will have an upbeat attitude and provide innovative solutions to meet the needs of Midland and Superior’s growing customer base.

Superior expects this individual to manage rentals when customers call in, provide customer service and support along with education of products. The Assistant Tool Rental Manager will also support the Superior team by having excellent communication skills and assisting the team with floor work. Successful Assistant Tool Rental Managers will have an upbeat attitude and provide innovative solutions to meet the needs of Superior’s growing customer base.
